Best way to get there?
Fly into Samana-El Catey International Airport (AZS) — just 30 minutes away. Santo Domingo (SDQ) is about 2 hours if you need more flight options. The villa can arrange airport taxis on request, or rent a scooter, car, or buggy delivered directly to the villa.
The infinity pool is the centerpiece of the whole property. It hangs over the hillside with panoramic sea views in every direction, and watching the sunset from the water with a drink in hand is one of those moments that makes you stop mid-conversation just to take it in. The terrace and lounge area around it are equally stunning — this is a villa designed for long, lazy days that turn into late nights.
Hire Chef Isidro!! Having a private chef handle meals meant we spent zero time worrying about food and 100% of our time actually enjoying the trip. He was warm, talented, and made the whole experience feel genuinely luxurious without being stuffy.
Las Terrenas itself deserves its own shoutout, it's one of my favorite places in the Caribbean and criminally underrated. The beaches are world class, the town has great restaurants and nightlife, and it has a unique character you won't find in Punta Cana or Santo Domingo (and it also doesn’t have the sargassum issue). We hired local taxis to take us in and out of town each night which was easy, affordable, and honestly part of the fun.
If you're planning a bachelorette, a big birthday, or any kind of group celebration and want a villa that delivers on every front — this is it.
