Palacio Papaya is designed around the idea that a great group villa should bring people together without forcing it. The sunken conversation pit, the dining table for 14, the rooftop bar, the pickleball court — every space is built for the kind of effortless togetherness that makes a group trip actually feel like a group trip rather than a bunch of people sharing a house.

The layout is genuinely impressive. Floor to ceiling glass doors open straight from the main living area out to the garden pool and surrounding jungle, so inside and outside feel like one continuous space. The rooftop is a whole separate world — a pool with daybeds, a full bar, and a yoga palapa where you can catch sunset over the jungle with 30 mats available if your group is into it.

Seven bedrooms each with their own en suite bathroom and AC means everyone gets privacy when they want it, which matters more than people think when you're traveling with 16 to 20 people. The primary king suite is a serious room, and the communal spaces are big enough that the group never feels on top of each other.

The concierge service takes the logistics completely off your plate — private chefs, bartenders, yacht charters, spa days, beach club reservations, all handled. For a large group trip where coordination can easily become a full time job, having that support makes the difference between a stressful trip and an unforgettable one.
